The Nitty Gritty:

How it works: Right now commissions are 30%. I prefer that you buy a small foundation inventory because this is the base of the business and I’ve found that by always having it on-hand I can make quicker sales, and that the money is in your pocket quicker as well as your customer being happy that they can go home with their makeup the same day they try it, if you have to order foundation for customers occasionally, it will be fine, but don’t let your customers have time to “lose interest” in our product. The instant gratification comes from falling in love with the makeup and immediately being able to use it. This is why so many people throw their other makeup away!

If you do want to order a small inventory, I do have special discounts: I give 40% off orders $400 and over and 50% discount for orders over $500. I can help you decide what products you need. I don’t have “complete sets” yet because not everyone wants the same package. This way you can choose to focus on products you feel you can sell the best or want to push the most.

Consultant Details:

You will be running LL as your own business. You will need to talk to an accountant on your state taxes and the details of filing a home business tax return. Your customers will make their checks out to you, not Lisha Lynn. Unless you are really good at this sort of thing, get an accountant from the beginning to assure yourself you are taking all the breaks you can! You’ll also need to keep receipts, mileage, etc, but please talk to your accountant about these things. I’m in Missouri and chances are I probably have to do a lot of things differently than you do! You will need to set up a separate bank account when you get started and this will make your business dealings a lot easier!!!

Consultant kit:

Since we are still growing and learning, we don’t have a “starter kit” per se, but we will work on getting one together as we see what consultants ask for and require. If you have ideas, let me know. There is a small fee of $50 to become a consultant for Lisha Lynn. This will tell me you are serious about saying you want to sell the makeup. I will then send you some brochures, samples of foundation and samples of finishing powders. And a few blush and eyeshadow samples as well. In with this I’ll add some party tips. The best way for you to sell the makeup is to just share your story and “show” someone the makeup. It sells itself!! I hardly ever get someone into my house, do a mini makeover and then have them leave without buying anything. It really does sell itself!! And if they do leave, I get the order within a week or two!!
